Jumbo Goula Children’s Wooden Dominoes (Large)

Children love to play dominoes but the younger ones struggle if they haven’t yet learned to count. These beautiful picture dominoes will solve the problem
There are 28 wooden dominoes, each measuring 12 x 6cm (approximately) making them easy for little hands. Each domino has a simple, brightly coloured image featuring objects and animals that very young children will recognise from their environment and story books.
The dominoes are placed, face-down in the centre of the table, and shuffled. Each player takes five dominoes (without looking at them) and the remaining tiles are put in a pile (face down). The youngest player lays down one of their dominoes and the player to their left tries to match one of their dominoes to the one already set down. If they can do this it is the next player’s turn. If they can’t lay a domino they have to pick another domino from the pile and it is the next player’s turn. Play continues until one player has been able to put all their dominoes down in the chain. This is the winner!
Of course, if you want to, the pictures on the tiles can also be used to help very young children identify objects, or start a story or discussion.
Suitable for children aged 12 months. Ability to play the full game of dominoes will vary from child to child, but probably from about 3 years old.
