Create your own pottery, sculptures, homeware and more with this flexible terracotta clay. Designed to be used straight from the packet, this terracotta clay is so easy to shape and mould using just your hands and some water.   The terracotta colour allows you to make rustic earthenware, which can be left in its natural matte state, varnished to add shine or decorated with vibrant paint.   Once finished, you can leave your design to dry naturally with no baking required. Depending on the size of your work, it will begin to dry within 24 hours, which is perfect if you need to make any slight tweaks or changes.   How to use air dry modelling clay: begin by pulling the amount you need from the block with your hands or cut with a knife or clay cutting tools. Work the clay with your hands and some water to soften it up and begin creating shapes. Keep applying water as you work to keep it moist. To store, put the remaining clay in a cool place in an airtight container to avoid drying out. Once finished, leave the design to dry naturally. When the design has gone completely hard, you can display it, add colour with acrylic paint or add varnish for a shiny finish.
