To play the game drink your beer (other liquid refreshments are available) in one go to the 1st VAR line. If you are dead on the line you are awarded a penalty and an appropriate reward; miss the line and the decision goes against you. Next, take a break if you want by landing bang on the halfway line or go all the way to the next VAR line. Hit the line precisely and you’re definitely onside- miss it and you’re red carded!
